Surprise PartY!

On their first date before a Halloween party, a college-aged couple, JASON and SARAH, spend an afternoon exploring abandoned places looking for thrills. The first two stops, an abandoned factory and an old church get their blood pumping. Jason and Sarah decide to venture down Devil's Fork Road in spite of being warned not to, where they discover what appears to be an abandoned trailer. Curiosity gets the best of them and they enter the trailer. They soon realize they are not alone when the delusional owner, KINNEY, suddenly arrives home, trapping them inside. With the realization that Kinney is a sexual predator with a new captive victim, Jason conceives a plan to escape that goes horribly wrong.

SARAH MOANS from the other room.

Jason’s head snaps up. He raises the knife. He takes a step toward the door and stumbles to the floor.

KINNEY (O.S.)

I know somebody who wants to see ya.

Jason pushes himself up from the floor. He wobbles and raises the knife.

Kinney enters the room with Sarah in his arms and a large grin on his face. 

Sarah struggles, bound and gagged.

KINNEY

This is what you wanted, isn’t it?

He sets Sarah down.

Sarah rolls into a defensive position and cries.

Kinney points at Matthew.

KINNEY

Go ahead and let that one loose. I’ll untie her.

Jason glances over at Matthew.

KINNEY

Here.

He reaches for Jason’s hand.

KINNEY

Let me see that a second.

He takes the knife from Jason’s hand.

KINNEY

It’ll make this go a little quicker.

Kinney leans down close to Sarah’s head.

KINNEY

You be a good girl for me now.

Jason watches as Kinney cuts Sarah’s feet loose.

Sarah turns her head and sees Jason.

He stares back with vacant eyes.

Kinney looks up at him.

KINNEY

Go ahead. I got this one handled.

He nods toward Matthew.

Jason shuffles over and unfastens the cuffs.

Kinney cuts Sarah’s hands free.

KINNEY

You stay put, now.

He hands the knife back to Jason.

Kinney turns and pulls Matthew away from the bondage rack.

Sarah looks at Jason and rubs her wrists.

Jason watches as Kinney moves past him and lays Matthew on the floor.

Sarah widens her eyes at Jason.

Jason moves his mouth to say something.

Kinney moves in front of him and reaches for Sarah.

KINNEY

Upsy-daisy.

He jerks Sarah to her feet.

KINNEY

Yer boyfriend’s waitin’ for ya!

Sarah questions Jason with her eyes.

Kinney looks at Jason.

KINNEY

You hang tight. I’ll rustle ‘er up for ya.

Kinney pushes Sarah past Jason. She looks back over her shoulder and reaches for her gag.

Kinney grabs her arms and bends her over the bondage rack. As he does, his shirt pulls up, revealing a pistol.
